Job Title: Construction Superintendent – Commercial K-12 School Addition Job Description This role leads and coordinates all on-site construction activities for a commercial K-12 school addition project. You oversee crews and subcontractors, maintain detailed project schedules, manage resources, and ensure the work meets design, quality, and safety standards while keeping the project on time and within budget. Responsibilities - Oversee construction crews and subcontractors on site, ensuring all trades perform their tasks according to the approved project plan and schedule. - Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, coordinating daily and weekly work sequences to meet milestones and overall deadlines. - Inspect work regularly to verify compliance with design specifications, construction standards, and established quality benchmarks. - Manage labor, materials, and equipment efficiently to minimize delays, control costs, and optimize overall productivity. - Prepare accurate daily reports that document site activities, progress, issues, and resolutions. - Track project progress against schedule and budget, and provide regular updates to management. - Coordinate and oversee mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) subcontractors to ensure proper sequencing and integration of their work. - Use the project management system (similar to Procore, referred to as Forma) to document activities, update schedules, and communicate with stakeholders. - Identify potential schedule or resource conflicts early and implement corrective actions to keep the project on track. - Promote a well-organized, safe, and efficient job site that supports high-quality workmanship and timely completion. Essential Skills - Minimum 5+ years of experience as a construction superintendent. - Proven commercial construction experience, preferably on complex building projects. - Demonstrated success managing projects of $3M or larger in value. - Experience overseeing and coord
