Employer: Aerotek. $18/hr Assembler Job Description This role focuses on assembling mechanical and electrical components into finished units in a clean, climate-controlled production environment. You will follow detailed work orders, use a variety of hand and power tools, and ensure each unit meets quality and safety standards before it moves to the next stage of production. The position offers the opportunity to develop strong mechanical skills and grow within a modern manufacturing facility. Responsibilities - Follow all safety procedures and use required safety equipment in accordance with company policies and practices. - Review work orders to understand product specifications, requirements, and sequence of operations. - Visually inspect components and completed units during assembly to ensure quality, accuracy, and conformance to specifications. - Select and assemble parts in the correct sequence using tools such as drills, rivets, screws, braces, tape, and other hand and power tools. - Install appropriate sub-assemblies and component parts into units based on design specifications and work instructions. - Apply wiring harnesses, sensors, and other electrical components in cabinets as specified in diagrams and standard operating procedures. - Operate a variety of tools including hand tools, drill, rivet gun, saw, hy-pot tester, hacksaw, drill press, and other production equipment as needed. - Complete all assembly processes in the specified sequence to meet production and quality requirements. - Ensure completed units meet quality standards and inspection criteria before moving them to the next workstation. - Perform cabinet foaming according to engineering specifications and documented procedures. - Read and follow work instructions, part labels, and part numbers to ensure correct components are used. - Use tape measures, blueprints, and work instructions to verify dimensions and proper assembly. - Maintain a clean and organized immediate work area on a daily
